So so what's new for the week? Well... this and that.

Met with the boyfriends friends on Monday night for one of their birthdays. I was fortunately helped out to choose something that didn't look ridiculous although the theme was kind of to wear such a thing. Boyfriend went in very amuzing Pink Ladys jacket complete with pink belt and cowboy hat. I of course got to keep the jacket and my mum wanted the hat... i hope he hasn't chucked the belt.

Had a couple of drinks (he didn't cos he was driving us back) and it all went well. Actually the cocktails were nice though we didn't get round to dancing since we left and got some KFC and drove back to mine. I litterally fell asleep with the food in my mouth. Next day, he had the day off, went out to the country for a bit. Was nice, we went round a few shops and had a look around etc and he went out later. I finished both stories on the Sims this week too - yay. Also showed him the sims but he's already played it before anyway! I invited one of the neighbouring sims in my house and since the free will was on, my sim started to make food and ignored the guest. Boyfriend kept insisting i make an effort to talk to the other sim and when i just laughed he accused me of being a "bad hostess" for not sharing the toasted sandwich.

Wednesday evening, went over to boyfriends, had some dinner, said hello to his cats etc... watched part of a movie (Cloverfield - hmm.)

Spent rest of the week driving (weather was weird so wipers on and off but all going ok - covererd a lot now its about a month in), went round some firms handing out CVs but theres very little work and cleaning out the house. Bro made some prawns earlier this week and that didnt smell very nice but the broccoli is nice. Went for a nice anniversary dinner at a posh restaraunt and it was actually nice followed by an Adam Sandler movie at the cinema. Not his biggest fan but I thought it was good and i laughed! I liked the different-ness about the movie. Felt like it went beyond the hollywood stereotypes and spent the next 40 mins after the movie explaining my theory to boyfriend on journey home. Im sure he was thrilled.

Saturday.... We had fish and chips (just the chips), I cleverly dropped half of it on the floor though. We found ourselves at the local garden centre again (he wanted to see the rabbits but they werent there so we saw the fishes instead) and while there we got more catnip for my cat (not much reaction!) and we got some cookies etc (he got some for my sister to congrats on her results). We got some random fudge, cookies (with dark choc and chili - i wouldnt try it) cake and all sorts. Didnt actually eat most of it.

Today went quick. Was quite warm. He kindly brought me breakfast in the morning (croissants, brownie and gingerbread man - yes, the calories) and we basically did the back garden nicely. We trimmed the trees, cut the weeds round the sides and knocked down the climbing frame. Litterally knocked the whole metal poles thing stuck in the cement in the ground. I have blisters but it was fun. After that he said he wants to be called round if we ever need to break anything. Once that was over we went to blockbusters and rented Funny Games US and got drinks from Starbucks (I cant seem to choose the right thing so will pick whatever he picks next time). We came home relaxed for a bit and then were treated to some home made steak. I actually really liked it. Which was good. So yay to trying something new.

The movie itself was not the greatest thing i've seen but it was a nice and relaxing and was a nice end to the week.
